So im midway through '56 Vespa rebuild, with a 12 volt conversion. I'm doing the body work, wondering if anyone out there have ever used a clear powder coat over the raw steel? I looked into Bluing the frame prior to clear coating, but ...seemed more of a head ache.
I really like the look of the organic appearance of the rainbowing from the heat, and the repairs. in contrast to the clean pristine look of the engine and parts.
